Description
Originating from the historic vineyards of La Groletta and Conca d’Oro in Sant’Ambrogio, Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG embodies the essence of traditional Italian winemaking. The wine is produced from a blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Oseleta grapes, which are harvested in October and then dried for three months to enhance their concentration. Following fermentation, the wine matures in Slavonian oak barrels, allowing it to develop its characteristic depth and complexity. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, and subtle hints of thyme and espresso. The palate is rich and velvety, with flavors of fig pie, pomegranate, and a touch of spice, culminating in a long, elegant finish. This Amarone is a testament to the Tommasi family’s dedication to quality and tradition, making it a prized addition to any wine collection.
