Description
Established in 1886 in the Loire Valley, St-Rémy has over 135 years of brandy-making expertise. The V.S.O.P. expression, launched in 1980, embodies the iconic taste that made St-Rémy famous worldwide. It is produced using grapes harvested from France’s prestigious wine regions, including Burgundy, Champagne, Rhône Valley, Languedoc-Roussillon, Loire Valley, Bordeaux, and Beaujolais. The brandy undergoes distillation in both column and pot stills, followed by maturation in small French oak barrels. This process results in an intense bouquet of exquisite fruity and floral aromas, accented with subtle tones of vanilla. The palate is smooth and well-rounded, offering notes of ripe fruit, vanilla, and a hint of oak, with a warm and satisfying finish. St-Rémy V.S.O.P. has been recognized for its quality, receiving silver medals at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2018, as well as at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2013.
