Description
Castello di Gabbiano Chianti Classico hails from the heart of Tuscany, Italy, and is produced by one of the region’s oldest estates, established in 1480. The wine is predominantly made from Sangiovese grapes, reflecting the classic style of Chianti Classico. It presents a deep ruby color and opens with inviting aromas of ripe red cherries, plums, and subtle earthy undertones. On the palate, it offers a medium-bodied structure with flavors of dark fruit, balanced by a touch of spice and a hint of oak. The finish is smooth and lingering, showcasing the wine’s well-integrated tannins and bright acidity. With an alcohol content of approximately 13%, it is best served slightly below room temperature to enhance its flavors.
