Produced by the esteemed Folonari family, who have been making wines in the Veneto region since 1825, this Valpolicella Classico DOC exemplifies the tradition and quality of Italian winemaking. The blend of 65% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, and 10% Molinara grapes is carefully crafted to create a harmonious wine with a bright ruby color and a fresh, fruity character.
On the nose, it presents aromas of red berries, including cherry and raspberry, complemented by subtle floral notes and a hint of spice. The palate is light to medium-bodied, with flavors of fresh fruit and a clean, crisp finish. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, this wine is approachable and easy-drinking, making it suitable for a wide range of palates.
Folonari Valpolicella Classico DOC is ready to drink upon release and does not require extended aging. It is best served slightly chilled, between 13°C to 15°C (55°F to 59°F), to enhance its refreshing qualities.
