Doña Paula’s red blends are crafted from grapes grown in various vineyards across Mendoza, including Ugarteche, Luján de Cuyo, and the Uco Valley. The Paula Red Blend, for instance, is composed of 40% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Syrah, and 3% Tannat. This blend presents an intense red color with ruby hues, expressive aromas of red fruits and spices, and a fresh, complex palate with smooth-textured tannins, attributed to the clay loam soils of Ugarteche. The Smoked by Doña Paula Red Blend is aged in customized barrels smoked through a unique process, imparting aromas reminiscent of traditional Argentinean barbecue (asado). This wine exhibits an intense violet color, complex aromas of red fruit jam, spices, vanilla, and a delicate smokiness. On the palate, it is noted for its sweet, velvety tannins.
