Description
Doña Paula Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in the esteemed Luján de Cuyo sub-region of Mendoza, Argentina. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of approximately 1,050 meters (3,445 feet) above sea level, benefiting from the region’s warm days and cool nights, which contribute to the development of complex flavors in the grapes. The wine is crafted using sustainable viticulture practices and undergoes a meticulous winemaking process. After handpicking, the grapes are gently destemmed and cold macerated to preserve their primary aromas. Fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures, followed by post-fermentation maceration to enhance color and structure. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, allowing it to develop depth and complexity. In the glass, Doña Paula Estate Cabernet Sauvignon displays an intense ruby red color. The nose is expressive, offering aromas of black fruits, cassis, spices, graphite, and a hint of red pepper. On the palate, it is concentrated with ripe, ample tannins and a long, persistent finish. This wine showcases the characteristic elegance and structure of a high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza
